Every session we run is free to the person we help. Gifts will keep it that way.
We're not taking donations yet
Shiba Support is brand new. Our 501(c)(3) application with the IRS is in progress, and we want to have it in hand before we accept a single dollar, so every gift is tax deductible and every receipt is right. When giving opens, this page will change. Until then, the best gift is your time.
What a gift will do

covers the phone and video tools for a month of remote sessions

pays for identity checks and training for two new volunteers

keeps the request line running for a month: hosting, email, and outreach
These are our best estimates for a small remote program. We’ll publish real numbers once we have them.

Right now, volunteers are what we need most. A couple of hours a month, from your own home, helps someone get back online.
VolunteerDonating old laptops or phones
Not yet. We don’t have a safe way to wipe, store, and ship devices, and we won’t take them until we do. When that program exists, we’ll post the wipe policy here in plain language. In the meantime, many public libraries and school districts accept working devices.
