Nationwide. Remote. Always free.

Free tech help. No judgment. No cost.

Phone acting up? Locked out of your email? Not sure if that text is a scam? A patient volunteer will walk you through it, step by step, for as long as it takes.

We help with

  • Phones and tablets

Setting up a new phone, a passcode you forgot, apps that won't install, or a phone that says storage is full.

  • Computers and laptops

Slow machines, pop-ups that won't go away, printers that won't print, and Wi-Fi that keeps dropping.

  • Accounts and passwords

Locked out of your email? We'll sit with you until you're back in.

  • Online safety

Not sure if a text, email, or call is a scam? Ask us before you click or pay. Private device safety checks for survivors.

  • Getting online

Finding internet you can afford, setting up a hotspot, and using free Wi-Fi safely.

  • Essential services

Doctor portals, benefits applications, job sites, school portals, and video calls with family.

How it works

  1. 1

    Ask

Fill out a short form. No account, no eligibility check, no cost. Tell us what's going on in your own words.

  2. 2

    Connect

A volunteer reaches you within 1 business day by email, text, phone, or video, whichever you prefer.

  3. 3

    Fixed

We stay with you until it works. If it takes more than one session, we book another. Still free.

Nobody is turned away

We’re new, volunteer-run, and just getting started across the United States. We put these folks first, but anyone can ask:

  • Seniors and anyone new to smartphones or computers
  • Low-income families and students
  • People with disabilities who need accessible setups
  • Immigrants and people still learning English
  • People without stable housing
  • Survivors who need a device safety check

What a session looks like

You send us a note: “My phone says my password is wrong and I can’t see my grandkids’ photos.” The next morning a volunteer texts to set up a call. On the call, they go slow, one tap at a time, and never ask for your password. Twenty minutes later you’re back in, and you have a way to get back in next time, too.

Help us help more people

Volunteer from anywhere

If you can reset a password and explain it kindly, you can help. A couple of hours a month makes a real difference. Everything happens remotely.
